Scruff is a miniature Jack Russell, who at the time the photo was taken was only 12 weeks old. He lives in Hemel Hempstead with his owner, Dawn.
"This was his first day out in the park and he loved the leaves," said Dawn. "He is looking up at a squirrel in the tree".
Scruff was one of seven boys in the litter and was the only one with long hair.
Blu is an eleven month old Blue Staffordshire bull terrier, who lives in Nottingham with his owner, Laura.
Laura says that she finds that most people think staffies don't get along with other dogs and cats. But Blu is different - he loves cats and other dogs and loves playing with them too. She also says that he can be crazy at times, when he has his "mad hour". He charges around the house from top to bottom, chasing up and down the stairs like a mad dog.
Says Laura, "He is so loveable and has to have cuddles everyday! He is the most well behaved dog ever."
Boo is a six month old Border x Lakeland Terrier, who lives in Ashton-Under-Lyne with her owner, Hannah.
Hannah says that Boo's favourite pastimes are tormenting the cat, destroying all her toys and begging for tit bits off your plate.
She loves everyone and greets them with great excitement and tons of doggy kisses.
Buddy is a three year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who lives in Hythe in Kent with his owner, Julie.
Julie says that Buddy is very friendly, loves people and animals and is well known in their home town. One of his favourite activities is playing ball.
Floyd was only 9 weeks old when this photo was taken.
Floyd lives in Nairn with his owner Dawn.
In the photo he is trying to make friends with a hedgehog and wondering why it was responding to his barks.
Bobby is a Havanese puppy and was only 12 weeks old when this photo was taken.
He lives in Dumfries with his owner Maureen.
"This was his first walk to the park", said Maureen, "and did he love it!"
